I'm surprised no one voted for more Instrumental and BGM music from anime (no one that posted here at least...and I could've missed a few posts coz the thread is loooong )...

I'm all for J-Pop and a huge fan of J-Rock...but I think KR needs more instrumental music...some anime have really beautiful music and it's a shame they don't get much airtime...some BGM are even so unique that you can't help but recall what it was like to watch that anime for the first time (NGE, Coeboy Bebop and Elfen Lied are prime examples of unique sounds)

I'm sure there are tons of examples of exceptional music on anime soundtracks...but the following ones are off the top of my head:
- Naruto: tracks like "Strong and Strike", "Naruto's Main Theme", "Sadness and Sorrow" and "Grief and Sorrow"...Shippuuden OST has too many great tracks to list
- Basilisk: some of the best instrumental traditional-flavored music...
- Fate/Stay Night: Kenji Kawai..need I say more...
- Deathnote: great soundtrack...you can't hear "Light's Theme" and not conjure up images of tragic heroes (whether Light can be classified as a tragic hero is a long debate..)
- NGE, Cowboy Bebop, FLCL...classics in the world of anime music...
- Claymore, Eureka Seven...Tsukihime...I could go on forever...

I'd like to hear more Vocaloid music and not just all from Miku either (though I adore her ). They're all wonderful and it would be great to hear songs from all of them.

Just a few other Asian pop songs would be nice too. I know KR is primarily for Jpop, Jrock, anime, and video game music and tunes related to those genres but Asia has so much more to offer like Kpop and Cpop. We already do have a few songs in languages other than Japanese and English so lets expand on that.

Like some other people were saying, more Touhou fanmade music.
