kawaii-radio was originally born in September, 2003.

Not long after starting the Purdue stream, we created a channel, #anime-radio, on the IRC network irc.mircx.com (now it is #kawaii-radio on the irc.chatsociety.net network). The channel wasn't really expected to go anywhere but it has grown considerably in a short amount of time.

Now, kawaii-radio has several servers and multiple DJs. If you want to find out more about the station, join the above IRC channel.

kawaii-radio admins and maintainers are: nightemaster, kawaii-desu, fuzzy_panda, Haru_Glory, tw-nym, and gabbababbahey.

The kawaii-radio.net website is hosted on an Xeon 2.4 quad core, 8GB RAM, with 1TB of disk space. The server is running the GNU/Debian operating system. If you have any other questions about the station, e-mail the webmaster or join the IRC channel and ask one of the operators.
